About the Event

We will also touch upon some of challenges faced by women and children within the Muslim community.

The webinar will discuss the significance of the major developments including the definition of domestic abuse, issues relating to coercive and controlling behaviour, protective measures and the legal process of applying for Domestic Abuse Protection Orders.

The panel of experts  will address whether this new Act will reach the grass root level of vulnerable Muslim women/BAME community. 

The webinar will include a Q&A session.
